The Military has always played a major role here – Camp Pendleton & Mira Mar Air Station for the Marines, and North Island Naval Air Station. Four aircraft carriers call San Diego Home port as well.

Easy access, consistently mild weather, world class infrastructure – it’s all here at the beach! When it comes to real estate in North San Diego County, property inventories up to $2 million are tight. Just like in Kansas City, many buyers are on a desperate hunt for good homes. Values are up 20% year over year. In many cases coaster property is approaching 2007 prices. Because new home inventory is very low, renovations are the majority of the market.
