First Fridays in the Crossroads Arts District
This FREE event is a Kansas City favorite. “First Fridays” occur on the first Friday of every month year round, rain or shine. Art galleries, retailers and other participating art venues located in the Crossroads Art District showcase art from 7-9pm. It is an eclectic gathering promising an enjoyable Friday evening.

Farmer’s Markets
In operation since 1857, the City Market is the largest farmers’ market in the region with an annual attendance of nearly 600,000 per year and bursting with more than 140 farmer stalls.
