Women’s & Family Care (also Modern Dermatology & Aesthetics) is a unique medical practice committed to helping people look good, feel good and be healthy. The medical practice is lead by Gordon Clark, MD who is board certified not only by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology but also by the American Board of Bariatric Medicine (the field of medicine specializing in the evaluation and treatment of obesity). His background in gynecology and bariatrics provides his expertise in metabolic management and reversal of obesity, diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia. We also provide traditional medical services for people from birth throughout their lives including general medical needs, dermatology services and complete decongestive therapy for lymphedema. 
Additionally our practice incorporates Cosmetic services and liposculpting procedures into our care. As the former Director of the Breast Clinic, at Truman Medical Center, Dr. Clark is uniquely qualified to perform successful Natural Breast Augmentation (taking fat from one area and enlarging the breasts). In our Aesthetic Services we offer wrinkle treatments including the newest technology of Venus Freeze (recently featured on The Doctors, Rachel Ray, and EXTRA), Dypsort and Botox, Facial Fillers such as Radiesse, Restylane and Perlane. We have licensed estheticians who perform facials, waxing and laser hair removal along with other services as well as a massage therapist who performs multiple types of massage as well as with Chinese Cupping.
Another exciting area of our practice is our Clinical Trial division. We participate in medication clinical trials in an effort to further the research and development of medications used in the treatment of diseases. We are currently enrolling subjects with diagnosis of Gout, Endometriosis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome – Diarrhea, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Over-Active Bladder. People with these illnesses can participate in these studies and may be reimbursed for their time and travel.
When Dr. Clark and his wife Tracy aren’t busy at their practice, you can find them enjoying time with their 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
