August 3rd, 3 – 11 PM – Hot Dog Fest. GRILLIN’ & GROOVIN’ in the historic 18th & Vine district. The Hotdog Festival celebrates the historical connection between our national pastime and the All-American hotdog! Proceeds benefit the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum (NLBM). Live music.

August 11th, 11AM – 6PM – India Fest 2024 at the Overland Park Convention Center. India Fest is an all-day event to experience the tastes, sounds, and sights of India, Live music, dance, food, and entertainment.
August 17th & 18th – Kansas City Taco Fest at KC Live. Get ready for an action-packed weekend filled with a large variety of tacos, margaritas, games, and taco-themed fun all while being entertained by live bands on stage, authentic Mariachi music, and so much more!
August 24th, 8:30 PM at Ameristar – An acoustic evening with Rick Springfield and Richard Marx. Be still my 80’s heart!
August 23rd – 25th – Parkville Days head to Downtown Parkville for one of its largest events. Parkville Days Festival features a variety of family-friendly entertainment including carnival rides. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy live music along the Missouri River and on Main Street.
August 30th – September 2nd – Santa-Cali-Gon Days in Independence is a free, family-friendly festival that celebrates the origins of the Santa Fe, California, and Oregon trails during the 1800s westward expansion. A Kansas City favorite festival.
