KC RiverFest 2014
Known as the only place in downtown Kansas City to celebrate Independence Day weekend with fireworks and family entertainment. Enjoy great rock, alternative, country and ragtime music, delicious food, carnival rides and games, and one of the largest fireworks shows in the area.

THE BIG BANG! Jackson County Fourth of July Celebration
Enjoy sweeping water views, sky divers, a kid’s carnival with games and inflatables, military tribute, and a FREE CONCERT with rising country rockers Backroad Anthem. No outside coolers, pets or fireworks.

Booms and Blooms Festival
Celebrate Independence Day at Powell Gardens! See dazzling daylilies near peak bloom, and enjoy live performances by Lee’s Summit’s School of Rock (4:30-6:30 p.m.) and the Lee’s Summit Symphony at 7:30 p.m. As the music concludes, a dramatic fireworks display takes place over the Gardens’ 12-acre lake.

Star Spangled Spectacular
Each year thousands of people attend the Star Spangled Spectacular at Corporate Woods in Overland Park. This annual event is sponsored by Overland Park Rotary, Corporate Woods, and the City of Overland Park, co-sponsor the event, which benefits local charities while offering a salute to our nation’s veterans.

4th of July Reds, Whites, and Blues
Pack a picnic basket, come out, taste some red and white wines and relax in our wine garden or 67-degree air conditioned barrel room while listening to some blues music over the speakers. We’ll also have a variety of fun and relaxing yard games set-up for you to play including washers and redneck golf. Parkville July 4th Celebration
Historic Downtown Parkville kicks off the annual July Fourth Celebration on Wednesday, July 2 when the carnival opens in the parking lot at the south end of Main Street. In addition to the carnival, this fun, family-style celebration includes a community parade, a pancake breakfast, a variety of food vendors, and, of course, our big firework finale on July 4th.

Celebrate America @ Worlds of Fun
Worlds of Fun lights up the sky with a huge fireworks show on Friday, July 4 PLUS every Saturday in July including July 5!! Fireworks begin at 10 pm. July 4th, Worlds of Fun Avenue will be closed from 7:30 p.m. to Midnight.
