Everyone with experience in moving people in or out of Kansas City has been faced with the problem of helping the temporary transferee find suitable rental homes because of the lack of a singular database. Last week Heartland MLS announced that effective November 14th, they will allow Agents to input homes for rent as a separate search in the database. The listings will automatically purge after 30 days, but as we all know, its probably all the time they should be out there. I have asked the top property managers in the city if they will be using the feature to market their inventory and will report as this option develops. We can only see it as a benefit to the consumer as long as its used. Watch this newsletter for updates on this topic.
